  May 8, 2019 - Cork disintegrated on opening but the wine was in good shape. We decanted it to remove cord and sediment and are we glad we did. It took some tim to open up, improving over the two hours that we opened dinner with. Initially more mutes, tea, light red fruit ans a ense that it was once a quite ripe vintage, over time it opened up to some soft plum a metallic ting as some others have noted for sure, with the acidity, density and structure coming back over time, turning into quite a nice mature but still lacking in complexity.
