  May 9, 2019 - #14 of 18 This continues to drink very well. Dark, deep and still quite youthful, needs a minimum of a two hour decant if you want to really see what this wine has to offer. Impressive scale and length make 1989 a fabulous vintage for La Chapelle and properly stored bottles have upside as this wine ages further and picks up more complexity.
