  May 16, 2019 - The 2015 Châteauneuf-du-Pape Vieilles Vignes (100% Grenache) is superb. Aromatics evolve in the glass with air, alternating between raspberry, strawberry, orange zest and then with intriguing peppermint and eucalyptus notes that take the complexity to the next level. The tannins are fine-grained and sweet fruit and spice reign on the palate in this full-bodied beauty, and the wine finishes with mind-blowing length and depth. A home run of a Châteauneuf that's built for the long haul!
