May 16, 2019 - Decanted 90 minutes ahead off of some sediment. Very deep garnet color, not showing any rust or bricking. Nice nose, showing floral and roasted meat aromas along with a strong herbal note. Full bodied on the palate, with black fruits in a firm structure. Very firm in fact, despite 5 years in bottle. This wine could still use more time.
