May 18, 2019 - Nice enough nose; licorice, sour cherry, mint, graphite, incense, but the palate has this heavy cooked fruit, plum pie, brandied pallor over everything. The finish is bitter and the alcohol is felt in the sinuses and chest. A try-hard wine with exceptional concentration and body but little balance or grace. Sell.
