  May 29, 2019 - Canard Tasting @ Buon Vino, Plano, TX - Tasted through 8 of the Canard portfolio including all three blends in 2014 vintage. The Rescuer is a primarily Merlot blend with small amounts of Cabernet Sauvignon and Franc. Pleasing mid palate as expected with Napa Merlot with a good balance of structure from the Cabs. Was offered in a three pack for under $50 which is a nice QPR. Pleasant nose with red fruit dominant. Could benefit from 2-5 more years in the bottle but drinking nicely today.
