  June 7, 2019 - At a tasting, red, 25 years old or older. Opened at the tasting, no decant. Followed some Bordeaux and our Varozza Vineyards Cab. Dark garnet, with some brick at the edges. Juicy nose, still lots of fruit, some earthiness. Palate was resolved, again still plenty of fruit, good structure. Long finish. Flavor profile was closer to the Bordeaux’s than the Varozza. Many guessed old world. Terrific wine, was worth the wait.
