  August 10, 2008 - [30yo VORS] Medium brown, a little cloudy; complex rich nose, sometimes marzipan among other high volatile notes, intense nuttiness but a sweet/savouriness like apple crumble; the shape of the palate is extraordinary: smooth, bass and treble - low deep nut/oak character with a lift from the powerful acidic/oxidation streak; long in the sense that it's the front, sides of the tongue and front roof of the mouth which experience the length most. It was a fantastic match for chorizo and meatball-based tapas!
