  June 11, 2019 - Opened with some sweaty saddle bretty aromas and I decanted it and gave it a bit of time. One the nose the fruit a touch muted but the balance is spot on palate wise (as usual) and the influence of the oak is well judged. It drinks of the vintage, a bit dilute and wet but has that minerally grain to it that keeps you coming back. Sealed it up in a half bottle for the next day and the animale was a touch stronger but still very drinkable.
