June 14, 2019 - Pale yellow colour, has some small bubbles of carbonic acid, smells of gooseberry and in the background mildly of melon and flint stone, has a lot of acidity, medium body, in the mouth gooseberry and melon, the residual sugar is hardly recognisable due to the high acidity, the wine appears to be not even off-dry, but almost dry, in the aftertaste gooseberry, melon and acidity, good length (15 sec). Good Kabinett, which tastes almost dry because of the high acidity, with the low alcohol of 9% it’s a very refreshing summer wine. It’s a little one-dimensional, though, so not in the same league as the Prüm Kabinett I tried last week.
