  June 16, 2019 - Powerful nose on opening and decanting. Good colour with little evidence of ageing. Intense red berry fruits on the palate showing sweetness, richness, and depth. Gentle, attractive vanilla with blackberry and mulberry fruits beginning to emerge over time. I don't understand some earlier comments about 'thin' and 'fading' fruit. I don't think there is any need to doubt that this wine has a longer life ahead if it has been stored well. Complex flavours developed over time including some tobacco, Eucalyptus and a trace of liquorice (in a nice way). Excellent acidity and balance. Very long. A superb Dead Arm. 92+
