It also has a somewhat bleak tone, far from any brilliant colour tones. The smell is also somewhat surprising, with a dominance of very acid, almost tart, red berries like red currant and somewhat unripe raspberries. Underneath, a clear mineral, iron-like tone. Then the mouth surprises even more. Although it is highly acid, it is also quite sweet. The fruit converges towards more ripe raspberries and strawberries, the tannins are very smooth, and the freshness is well balanced by the sweetness of the fruit. Long, almost Burgundy-like in its sweet lightness. Drunk with grilled kid, a match almost made in heaven as the wine kind of expanded in the encounter with the light, but savoury meat. A beautiful wine.
