  June 16, 2019 - Popped and poured in anticipation of an upcoming trip to the Northwest. This is a medium-red wine. On the nose, I get brine, funk, salted meats, a wood-burning grill, and some sweat. The mouth is pure funk, with salty, olive, and beefy notes. The finish carries the salt and charred meats. Overall, this is a really great wine — it is a unique, wild, and wonderful experience. But it is not for everyone (for example, my wife thought this smells like a toxic smelter). 93 points.
