  June 17, 2019 - Dense, dark and very ripe. The sweet fruit is pretty well held in check by the acidity. It has some interesting spice notes and a very long tart finish. The other grapes make it not quite a Zinfandel. Not usually a fan of sweet, high alcohol Zins but this is done very well. I thought it was drinking really well and was great with lamb, tarragon rice, and harissa roasted carrots.
