  June 23, 2019 - Bought from WineAccess because of my appreciation of Julien Fayard’s winemaking. Outstanding QPR at $43. Surprised at the deep garnet color (not surprised to learn that there are small amounts of Petit Verdot and Petite Sirah).
  Dark fruits and spice on the nose. Silky texture with well integrated tannins. Blackberry, plum, cassis, baking spices, and a hint of vanilla on the palate. Medium finish. Paired well with Buffalo burgers. Can’t wait to have this again although would like to let it rest for a year or two to see where is goes.
