June 26, 2019 - 2004 Pol Roger Winston Churchill was tight, tight, tight. After two hours open it displayed an impressive degree of chalkiness, minerality and acidity but IMO needs at least 5 years to start loosening up. A recent 2006 was much more enjoyable though I'll probably prefer this in the long term.
