  Decent dark, rich, fruited Aussie wine. I hoped I was going to re-experience a cherished flavour profile from 20 years ago, but this is not like the Wolf Blass of the 80s/90s if you remember that vivid cassis-fest. This is a little furry in texture, with straightforward fruit. Sweetish blackcurrant-ish and a texture somewhat "fluffy" and lazy (the Malbec maybe wasn't a great idea in this, though I don't know how much there is). Imprecise fruit, and a bit obviously alcoholic. Horrendously, massively overpriced at something like £35-£50 GBP per bottle now). Decent and enjoyable, but frankly avoid at this price. 89+
