July 7, 2019 - Popped and poured. This is a translucent cherry-red wine with some small sediment rocks at the end of the bottle. On the nose, I get cherries, herbs, leather, and tree sap. In the mouth, this is medium-weight, with flavors of cherry syrup and other red fruit leaving a finish on which the tannins are fully absorbed. Overall, this is a crunchy red wine, one that I would recommend serving with a hearty stew or similarly rustic dish. This ultimately is not a complex wine, but is one that is warm and inviting. I see no reason not to let it in for a very pleasant evening. 90 points.
