  July 10, 2019 - Double decanted at 2pm and started serving at 7pm. With extended aeration, the tannins have softened with ripe dark currant, herbs, nutmeg, spice cake, graphite and liquorice. Powerful and mouthcoating. I would decant the bottle for 3 hours if I serve this wine again at its youth.

  7/11/19, 7:50 AM - I haven’t had as many VEGA’s as you but from trying 90’s they seem to evolve very slowly and I feel it’s better to drink these around 35-40 years old minimum.
