  July 17, 2019 - The 2017 is not a Beaujolais Nouveau; it's a Beaujolais, from the village of St. Etienne la Varenne. Beautiful ruby color, subtle aromas of red fruits, with some floral hints (hyacinths and violets). Medium to full-bodied with strawberry, raspberry, and black cherry fruit and a subtle earthiness. This Brouilly has soft tannins and is made to drink in its youth.
