  July 20, 2019 - following last night 2008 Chateau Montelena this one we think is even better, maybe more at it’s peak? Nice bright yellow (chardonneret-finch) color. Nose is light with citrus caramel if that even exist as a descriptor! Now the flavor so smooooth light caramel butter notes but not overpowering, nice acidity simply a joy to sip on this beautiful summer day. Bonnes Vacances!
