July 22, 2019 - Good bottle, very top shoulder fill. Initially weak, the wine took about 3 hours to open up. Earthy, with tones of raisin, prune, licorice, sour cherries, rose hip, toffee. Medium bodied with high acidity. Drinkable, but clearly over the hill. Best with food, for example a hearty dish of white meat with mushrooms. Drink up!
