  July 23, 2019 - Really good wine that just needs more time. Blue and black fruits are plentiful. Just kind of one dimensional - that would be the "in your face" dimension. But so delish none the less. With time has 2 points (maybe 3) upside potential. Will try to wait a few years before revisiting.

  10/30/19, 5:14 AM - Yes guys.....'in your face' is the 'in' thing, especially in the good years. It didn't work for me with the few '17s I tasted in Napa a couple weeks ago though. Just over extracted syrup.....and so out of balance as to seem 'unnatural'. The '16s remain a curious breed, all so over the top, some perfectly balanced out of the gate, others needing 6-12 months to come together. Again, hard to tell which ones to open when, but made all the more easier by all the CT reviews giving us a heads up.
