July 26, 2019 - Good vintage and seemingly nice fruit ruined by the use of oak that has made the wine overly sappy, changed the tannin and creates a bitterness that takes over the sweetness of the lovely ripe fruit. It actually really shits on all of the bright fruit flavours. Shame. Might be a better wine in a few years but never as good as it could have been.

7/27/19, 7:04 AM - Day 2 on this wine and it is enjoyable, more like barolo really. It's all cherry and almonds but I still wonder what could have been. The oak is lingering and the lighter floral parts of the wine are muddied. Many will love this as a bargain barolo but I will stand with my initial review, great fruit and I am sure it will develop into a very good wine but at the expense of a younger drinking, complex Nebbiolo. Expectations and personal preferences really.
