July 26, 2019 - Left me wanting. I think it needs time but wasn't sure if it had the stuffing. Slightly boring across the board. Would love to try an older version.

12/11/19, 5:21 AM - What a shame...........that such a stunning bottle got opened so early. Don't get me wrong (as I have made the same mistake many times in the past), it is very useful to see others opinions on the development of a wine but the drinking window on this one is a well-publicised 23-35.

I have a case of these that I will not touch for at least another 5 years and possibly 10. On a more general note, too much Grand Cru Chablis is also chilled down and drunk too cold. I decant top end Burgundy as a matter of course and drink it at cellar temp (12c in my case) out of a suitable glass (larger than a conventional 'white' wine glass). If you have not done so before, try it as it is an amazing experience for top-end bottles.

Finally, humble apologies to all those that I am teaching to suck eggs. Just trying to help!
