  July 29, 2019 - Very very very tight. Maybe it’s that particular bottle and the weather but I was surprised by it.
  The nose is intoxicating, beautiful classic northern Syrah. Violet, smoke, meaty.
  Palate is shut down, starts to open up after 5h in decanter. Lots of structure, elegant fruit (mix of red and blue) with tannins getting softer with air.
  Needs more time!
