August 6, 2019 - For some wines younger is better and this is one. Bright, clean, bold and fresh. The Roussane (40%) dominates the Chardonnay (44%), there’s plenty of that oily iodine note. The Petit Manseng (8%) and Viognier (8%) add to the exoticism. It’s a bit of a shock on first sip but after a while you get accustomed to it and grow to like it more. Still, it’s better as an occasional change of scenery than a daily tipple.
