  July 26, 2019 - Tasted alongside the long spicy 2012 S/Malbec.
  
  This is 14% cf 13.6% for the 2012. It shows all round in the deeper, dark purple colour, deep-scented blue and black fruits on the nose, and the luxuriant palate.
  
  The nose is fragrant, almost floral, with gum on the edges and leather, warm spice hints.
  
  Beautiful deep palate. Superb balance. Rounded with ultra-fine powdery tannin, trademark dash of acid, and lots of blue/black fruits. Leather tinges. Leads into a lingering, fresh finish. Sublime Shiraz Malbec.
