August 9, 2019 - Double decanted this at 4PM and started drinking it around 7PM at Ana & Josh's place. It showed a fair amount of sediment on the decant and doesn't need much air. Semi opaque ruby red with cherry red edges. Profuse aromas of; tobacco, cedar, expresso and berries. Love the BDX like nose! The mouth feel is sensual, resolved and yet still lifted. Rich, chocolate covered berries, cherries, raspberries, cedar, licorice, and spice on the palate. Big mountain fruit but not heavy or flabby. Delicious new world that is still in my wheelhouse and always makes Josh & Ana happy since they have fond memories of visiting Pride with us. These might go till 2020 and beyond but I doubt it improves from here on out. This likely hit its peak a few years ago. My last of 4 and quite good tonight.
