  August 10, 2019 - Opened and decanted for 15-20 minutes. Even then there was quite high acidity for a while longer. But it subsided and the palate became very smooth and fruit driven. However, there's no great complexity, and it's a bit thin.
  
  It's a very approachable and quaffable red once it's been open for a while. But no wow factor.
  
  Decent QPR at US$17 though.
  
  EDIT 05/09/2018: I was a bit niggardly here in my rating: subsequent bottles with a 30 minute splash decant have been rather nice, and not at all thin. This is a very good everyday CdR. I've upped my rating a point.
