  August 9, 2019 - Purplish ruby color. Aromas of dark fruits, dark chocolate, cedar, walnuts, licorice, and violet. Definitely getting some of the oak character, but it's a complicating positive here. Medium body and finish, medium (+) acid, and flavors of dark and dark red fruits, licorice, black tea, lemon, and orange peel. Bigger style but balanced. Enjoyed it with a steak at a restaurant tonight.
