  August 23, 2008 - Agree with others that this is a down-scaled Amarone, without the big sweetness, a tad more restrained. Still lush, with cherry pits and chocolate galore. Still some tannin in the background. A slight roasted note does creep in with time, but it's not overbearing. At $40, this would be a tough buy, but for a $20 closeout it's darn good.
