  August 25, 2019 - The 2009 Charmes-Chambertin took several hours in the decanter to reveal any personality whatsoever, but once open, it had it all: Dark fruit, spice, smoke, potting soil. Plush texture, lots of dry extract, without feeling extracted, let alone overextracted. Very good.
