    9/4/19, 3:04 PM - Rieslingfan-I pretty much shared this impression when I tasted the 2007 within the past year. Although it is more delicate and has less stuffing than the 2001, the 2 vintages are similar in some ways. I'm beginning to think that like its elder sibling, the 2007 will need a full 15 or 16 years before it really takes off, although it may not have the requisite depth of fruit to reach the heights of the older vintage, which remains among my top 2 Frédéric Emiles of the decade.
