  September 6, 2019 - Previously tasted nearly 10 months ago at the winery, this was my first from bottle. Soft black and brighter red cherry on the nose along with floral, spice and earth notes. Medium bodied with red cherry upfront, deepening to black cherry through the middle and adding blackberry and tart cherry on the back side. Acidity and tart back notes were a bit more noticeable than in my winery tasting. Retains good length and integration on the finish. With time, should continue to open up through the middle and integrate through the back. There's enough fruit, density and structure here to make this worth holding onto for some additional cellar time. Next bottle for me will be Summer 2020.
