September 10, 2019 - Beautiful rich vibrant gold colour, star bright and clear, with medium optical density and very high specular, brilliant reflectivity. Strong aromas of rich, creamy fruits, spices, and fall meadow grasses (after the harvest and a freeze, nothing green about it). Full body, medium acidity, very dry, and a creamy texture that is not too thick, but certainly has density. Flavours of vivid fruits on the attack, showing light tropicals (a bit of pineapple with melon), creamy pear, and some spicy honeyed and then baked apple. The midpalate is interesting, with honeysuckle and sweet floral flavours coming on as the fruit pushes to the background. The finish is clean, with just a hint of tart fruit and cured dried flowers, some light citrus (lime over lemon) with medium length.

This is really well made, complex, and delicious wine. The look, aromas, and taste are stunning, with plenty to think about, and yet nothing is overdone. Definitely a creamy and robust wine, but not overly sweet and well balanced. Everything in the right place on this, for a smashing food-friendly and big, robust white that is still polished and elegant. Definitely pairs with robust food and cooler weather, as while it is refreshing, it is a heavier drink. Vivid, flashy, powerful, yet stylish and sophisticated. Seems to drink great right now!
