  September 15, 2019 - Sweet cedar and pencil shavings waft immediately from the glass as soon as it is poured. The wine might once have been over-Oaked on release but wow has it come together with age in a way that Michael often does. Now it is balanced, the sweet dark fruit has melded with the oak, and it is drinking superbly. The wine improves in the glass over the next 2 hours with no sign of decline. No rush to drink but it’s certainly at its peak.
