  September 15, 2019 - I have to say, I’m not usually a Kongsgaard fan, or for that matter, any of the big, oaky Cali chards, but today I found this bottle to be extraordinary! There was a surprising amount of depth and complexity that was uplifted by the oak, rather than being overpowered by it. All in all, a surprisingly delicious bottle of wine. As for qpr, well, this is a perfect example of a “price of admission” wine. If you want to taste it, you have to pay the price of admission.
