  September 18, 2019 - The second bottle from the case and I need to update my original evaluation slightly. Light in colour for a Rugiens, a medium hue of strawberry juice. Elegant, pure nose, typically fresh pinot with hints of raspberry, cranberry and redcurrant. Medium weight on the palate and once again shouts elegance, purity and freshness. Good finish. I really like this owing much to its wonderfully transparent structure. Not the greatest Rugiens, but a pretty damn good one. Estimated maturity: Now to 2022+
