  September 26, 2019 - Stunning aromas of blackberry pie, cassis fruit and crushed flowers with hints of tobacco and menthol. Firm and focused, presenting mostly primary still but with some tertiary flavors emerging in the form of leather and mushroom. Still a lot of nicely pure blue fruit backed up by a ton of loamy soil and earth driven notions. Bitter chocolate takes you from the mid palate to a very long finish. This appears to have a long life ahead, but it is straight gorgeous right now and honestly much better than I was expecting.
