September 29, 2019 - Popped and poured from split. This is a deep red wine with some light sediment (bit more at the end). On the nose, I get ripe currant, various oak influences, and a flash of heat. In the mouth, this is fruity and open; the overarching aspect is blueberries, although the alcohol does peek through at points. The finish kicks it through with more dark fruits and wood. Overall, this is a ripe and loaded Cab. It leans slightly hot, so perhaps is a touch too loaded. I would finish in the next 5 years or so. 90 points.
