    September 28, 2019 - U.S. Pinot Noirs (1-'15, 4-'16s, & 1-'17) + 1 Shared Tasmanian '16 (Vintage Wines Ltd., San Diego, CA): Harvested 8/24-10/4/16 @ 24.5° Brix ave; 12-18 days fermentation @ 82°F; Aged 16 mos in 100% FR, med+ toast, Burgundy-style barrels (228 liters) from the Allier, Vosges, & Tronçais Forests (60% new, 20% 2nd use, & 20% neutral); 14.5% ABV, 0.53 g/100 ml T.A., & 3.79 pH; 28,000 cases made.

N: CLOSED, but I'd say *definitely* RIPE

P: LM body; Rndish entry with NICE, almost swtish frt met by an astringent pucker which QUITE resolves by the LONG finish with a tangy/swtness to the few, firming, very, VERY fine tannins. For now & through '22. My VG+/EXC-; 92 pts ea WS & WE (9/1/19) @ $59, and 90 Dunnuck. [Check with this vendor if interested in their very COMPETITIVE price.]

    Note: Also tasted on 4/13/19

12/7/19, 10:02 PM - Check with which vendor for a very competitive price? Thank you.

12/7/19, 10:10 PM - Halfeel, it's Vintage Wines Ltd., (858) 549.2112. (The "Tasting Story" [in blue @ the top of the note] will mention the vendor -- unless I neglect to enter it.) ;)

12/7/19, 11:44 PM - OK, Thank you srh. After searching on their website, I don't think yet are still offering this wine. Please let me know I you find out anything different. Cheers, 1/2-Eel.

12/8/19, 4:38 AM - Halfeel, their website (with respect to stock) is NOT reliable. :( 'Twould be best to do what I do when it's other than a Sat (when I taste there): Phone them, & IF in stock, inquire re the price. ;)
