  October 1, 2019 - Consistent with previous bottles. Pale salmon orange in color, this sparkling Chinon is a treasure and joy to drink. If tasted blind, I would not identify Cab Franc as the grape. The nose shows strawberry with just a small hint of tobacco and the mouth feel and finish are explosive, with darker fruit coming out. 12% abv.
  
  Purchased for $20US, this is a beautiful sparkling wine. I'm glad the producer is making more of this and it's now available (almost) year round. This is a quality wine from an outstanding producer.
