  September 30, 2019 - Had this during our Tuscany trip with friends 9/28 to 10/5 to Villa Montepulciano. We tasted this at the winery Podere Le Ripi.
  
  While I do take seriously the winemakers care in this production, and uphold to traditional wine-making traditions, I really think that at the end of the day the wine product must shine.
  
  In this production the wine is blended between Syrah, Sangiovese, and Merlot. It is good but not great. A little over-priced as well. Black fruits dominate with a fig paste like mouthfeel which lingers.
