  September 30, 2019 - Had this during our Tuscany trip with friends 9/28 to 10/5 to Villa Montepulciano. We tasted this at the winery Podere Le Ripi.
  
  A wonderful but "difficult to be convinced" expression of a IGT wine which breaks many rules. The winery should present this wine with at least 4-6 hours of decant as it was closed and simply not for the average taster, like I, who need to get past the tannin to really search out the fruit.
  
  Clearly a well produced wine but oh so over-priced. At over 250eu this needed to be in the super Tuscan hierarchy to fulfill.
