  October 4, 2019 - 90% PM, 5% PN, 5% Chard; a powerful Champagne with broad shoulders and lots in the tank, easy to appreciate and somewhat friendly for an Extra Brut, this has enough lees character and fruit to round out any sharp edges, (I guess this is where Champagne and Riesling are headed and eventually it will be the norm), broad and expansive on the mouth and I found the analogy of Pinot Meunier to Merlot quite apt in this bottle, complexity had yet to be revealed but the bottle disappeared so quickly from the overall balance that we didn't reach that point, must have been a sign, best to enjoy this a touch warmer that most Champagnes.
