  October 9, 2019 - Dark as a moonless night, with a purplish ruby red at the very edges. Aromas of dark fruits, earth, violet, cedar, licorice, graphite, and minerals. Medium body, medium (+) acid and finish, with flavors of dark fruits, licorice, walnuts, orange peel, and minerals. Drinking well tonight with our ropa vieja, and given my experience with a previous vintage or two, I'd say it could age another few years as well. Solid QPR on this one (I paid $15). 90+
