  October 11, 2019 - Disappointing in that after reading reviews and tasting when younger I was expecting so much more. Dark with a finish that lasted. Fruit was muted, almost like it was wearing a muzzle or perhaps this bottle was tired. And there was a taste that permeates slightly bitter, stems? This had many qualities of a well aged Napa cab which it’s not. And the nose was deceiving, it was so promising.
  
  Going to try another bottle and give it several hours to open to what I generally expect. I have enjoyed many bottles from this winery sZo I think my expectations are realistic. However, not very optimistic but really want to be wrong.
