October 11, 2019 - KFrench’s review is pretty spot on. Even though I decanted for 6 hrs prior to my tasting, the wine is in a rugged, tight phase right now. Many blind tasters did not like that aspect in comparison to a more open New World sangiovese. This will be an excellent wine with some patience.
