  October 16, 2019 - Over three days. The tautest and most rustic vintage of this label I recall tasting. Deep purple core, gripping middle, rippin' acids, and grainy tannins. A spectacular pairing with 1000 day aged Gouda, which brought the wine's dried, desert fruit sweetness to the fore. Only a touch of eucalyptus, otherwise it drinks like a cool north Rhone vintage, especially Cornas. The 13.5 abv was much welcome.
